Question

Adobe Acrobat Pro download does not work

I paid for a subscription but I am unable to download the product. I use Windows 7 Pro with all service packs and updates as the majority of my clients use the same setup.

Tried to get help from Adobe technical support but the guy I spoke to wasn't easy to understand. He did say that I had to add some ports and URL to somewhere in Windows but didn't specify how I had to do that. Obvioulsy he was just quoting pre written information.

If anyone knows how to do this I would welcome any useful advice as at the moment I am having to pay for something that I cannot even use.

Please try downloading 32-bit version of Acrobat from https://helpx.adobe.com/in/acrobat/kb/acrobat-dc-downloads.html

Tried that, but it was an old version.

But I did manage to get Acrobat Pro, albeit unintentionally. I had deleted Acrobat reader from my PC.

Then downloaded the latest version of Acrobat reader.

After a few hours Adobe Reader popped up a message stating that I qualified for Acrobat Pro and even provided the download link. That link worked but what I got was Acrobat DC. About 36 hours after I installed in and was just about to use it when I got some a messages that stated that updates were being downloaded and 30 minutes later I had a fully functioning Adobe Acrobat Pro, version 2003.001.20143

Got what I wanted eventually but what a PITA to get it.
