Adobe Acrobat Pro Flickering & Clocking on MacOS Monterey 12.7.1

Question

Hi! My work involves large-size PDF files for catalogs (over 100 MB). I have encountered issues in the past 8 weeks when using Adobe Acrobat Pro (version 2023.006.20360). The PDF flickers and I go on the clock when trying to move from one page to the other. It also doesn't download all the images/graphics on the page. I have a screen capture to show what this looks like. How do I fix this? It didn't occur with older versions of the Adobe desktop app, which I need to use since the file size is over 100MB.

Hi there,

Hope you are doing well and sorry to keep you waiting.

What is the version of the Acrobat DC you are using? To check the version go to Help > About Acrobat and make sure you have the recent version 23.08.20555 installed. Go to Help > Check for updates and reboot the computer once.

Please try to reset the Acrobat preferences as described here https://adobe.ly/3PeQubQ and see if that works.
