I was directed by my adobe acrobat pro to buy a new license, but it ended up having me purchase an annual license that can only be used with windows when I have a mac. Can I get a refund and buy the license for a version to use with Mac?

If you bought an annual license it means you have a subscription, which is cross-platform. You can use it on either a Windows machine or a Mac. You will need to use different installers, though, obviously.

Did you buy a subscription, or a permanent license?
