Adobe acrobat Pro in VDI

I have a customer who is having issues viewing autocad generated PDF's inside of a Windows Virtual Desktop VDI. There is significant laggyness whereas it works perfectly fine on the local computer. The VDI host has significant more resources than the local computer. I have tried reinstalling and the 64 bit version of acrobat and haven't seen improvement.
