Adobe Acrobat Pro keeps uninstalling itself

Hello there, so we have ran into a company wide issue where Adobe Acrobat Pro will just randomly uninstall itself.  Have contacted Adobe support to get resolution, though have not heard of a resolution yet.

When on tech support they walked through with uninstalling the program, deleting certain folders after the uninstall and the reinstalling.

I have contacted our IT company and they are scratching their heads.  As it is seems we are the only ones with this issue.  They have checked group policy's for the company and have not found anything that would cause this.

So everyday we have to keep reinstalling the program when we want to use the program.

Was there a recent Windows Update that anyone knows that may be causing this issue?

Hi,

Twice now in last two weeks, adobe pro desktop v24.1 just stops working, browser version is fine. The shortcut on desktop, does not work, if I try to specifically use the 'open with' adobe acrobat nothing opens.

If I go to task manager, lot of adobe acrobat (2) background processes running but there are no pdf files open.

Creative cloud says my deskptop app is installed.

Using windows 11 24H2

What is going on, can anyone help please?

Thanks

Hi, did you resolve issue?
We have same issue on 24PCs with adobe standard from creative cloud via SCCM. every 2 weeks all PCs will lose their standard license randomly and switch to adobe reader. requires reinstallation from creative cloud each time. turning off updates has not resolved. global support desk has not resolved. di you find a solution?

Did you ever get an answer for this? We are seeing the same thing and are using SCCM as well.

Hi,

Can you confirm:

- do you see the uninstall process or the software just disseapered after login in?

- Did you check what the log indicates about it? (Computer log or Server log depending on answer to previous question)

- What type of license do you have
