Question

Adobe Acrobat Pro not printing content of Word Document that includes Forms - form fields empty

Recently upgraded from stand alone Adobe Acrobat product to subscription version of Adobe Acrobat Pro with new Windows 11 desk top computer.  However, when trying to print a MS 365 Word document that is comprised of fillable forms to PDF, the only thing that Adobe prints are some of the form boxes and the contents are completely empty.   Also, using the command "Save as Adobe PDF" in Word yields the same blank result. Note that the Word print preview shows all of the text in the form boxes.

I have no problems printing these files to a hard printer or to an XPS file, so it does not appear to be a Word problem?   Regular Word documents with no forms print just fine, as do Excel and Outlook documents.  I also never had a problem with the former stand along Adobe Acrobat product printing these MS Word documents with forms properly.

Any Adobe print settings that I am missing?  Any guidance would be appreciated!

Thanks

You should use the PDFMaker plugin in Office to convert the files to PDF (under the Acrobat ribbon), not the Save As PDF command or the virtual printer.
