I recently went from windows 7 to windows 10. When i did this my acrobat 8.1 told me i only had a few trial days left and my attempts to reactivate did not work. I tried uninstalling, but I did not realize i did not have a way to reinstall. Upon contacting support they told me my serial number is valid and should be good to go, but they could not provide me with a link to download acrobat 8.1

Does anyone have a link to where I can download 8.1 professional?

Thank you for your help in advanced.

No.  I'm sorry to say, Acrobat 8 is officially dead.  There is no possible way to activate the software once it's installed because the aging activation servers were retired and taken offline years ago.  At one time Adobe made replacement installers and new serial numbers available online but that program has ended.   Nobody can help you with Acrobat 8.  I suggest you use Acrobat DC or free Acrobat Reader DC. They are both superior to version 8.

A bit late but actually that is not strictly true. I've been happily using Acrobat 8.1 right up until the present day (1st September 2021).

That doesn't contradict what Nancy wrote. Your version is already activated, so it continues working, but if you try to install it on a new machine, or even if you make changes to your current machine that require re-activation (like installing a new OS version or changing the motherboard), you won't be able to use it.
