Question

Adobe Acrobat Reader

I read several newspapers online for broadcast to the blind community. Many of these newspapers are posted as a .pdf.

I read the pages in the 'read' mode; otherwise, the sides of the pages are cut off. If I scroll down a page or move to another page, I have to reset the view to 'read' each time. Is there a way to permanently lock the read view?

Thank you.

Hi there

I hope you are doing well, and I apologize for the trouble you are experiencing.

I tried to reproduce the issue at my end, and the application is functioning properly. When you enter the read mode and scroll through the pages of the document, they all remain intact in the Read Mode unless you press the Esc key and come out of the Read Mode.

Would you mind sharing the version of the Acrobat Reader application and the OS you are using? Go to Help > About Acrobat and ensure it's updated to the latest version, 25.01.20756. Go to Help > Check for updates and reboot the computer once.

Also, check if it's an issue with a particular PDF file or with all the PDFs. Try with a different PDF file and check.

Let us know how it goes.
