Adobe Acrobat Reader DC 2019.008.20071 is taking ages to save changes on a pdf on Document Cloud.

Recently I upgraded Adobe Acrobat Reader DC on my Windows 7 32-bit laptop from version 2018.011.20055 to newer version 2019.008.20071. But the older problem remains consistent - Adobe reader is taking a hell lot of time (about 15 mins.) just for saving a small 'dot' on opened pdf on Document Cloud. My wii-fi connection speed is 4Mbps.

Hi All,

Adobe Acrobat official update (19.008.20080) containing the fix for this issue is now available. This update will be automatically pushed to all existing installations of Acrobat. If you want, you may also manually trigger the update early by opening the application and going to Acrobat>Help > Check for Updates.

Let us know the result after updating it to the latest version.

Hey Tanay,

Sorry to hear about the frustrating experience.

Seems that you have been experiencing the problem from long, even with the previous version as well. For testing, you my check the same on web and see how much time it takes to upload the file on Document Cloud?

Adobe Document Cloud

You may check if there is any internet security software (antivirus) which might be causing trouble. Please turn it off for a while and try uploading the files.

[Antivirus software can help protect your computer against viruses and other security threats. In most cases, you shouldn't disable your antivirus software. If you have to temporarily disable it to install or activate other software, you should re-enable it as soon as you're done.]

Uploading docs. online via app or website has no issue. The only issue is regarding speed of saving & updating modifications (such as highlight, underline etc.) across devices connected by the same Adobe ID in the ADOBE APP ITSELF. Basically I use Adobe app on all my devices instead of website. Also I cannot disable my PC's antivirus protection every time while uploading or modifying docs.

Dropbox is much, much faster as compared to Adobe and saves & syncs all the comments almost instantaneously across the same piece of document on all the connected devices.

I wish to use only my single Adobe ID for these tasks instead of Dropbox.

I hope you're getting my point.
