Adobe Acrobat Reader DC automatically upgrading to Adobe Pro DC

Hi all,

Is anyone getting this issue where the Adobe Acrobat Reader DC upgrades itself to Adobe Acrobat Pro DC over some time?

I've installed Reader DC on a Win 2019 terminal server and by the next day it shows up as Pro DC and users are forced to log into Adobe account and activate a free trial or it will close itself.

Can anyone let me knoww why it's happening and how to prevent this?

Thanks.

Was able to get this working again.

1. Make sure Adobe Reader and/or Acrobat are uninstalled

2. create & download adobe acrobat from your Teams admin console packages (https://adminconsole.adobe.com/31D5483F53C43BB20A490D44@AdobeOrg/packages/all-packages), using the Acrobat template

3. install acrobat using the package

4. download The adobe reader enterprise installer from https://get.adobe.com/reader/enterprise/

5. install adobe reader using the enterprise installer

6. set the following registry key to prevent acrobat upgrading reader to a single app

[HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Policies\Adobe\Acrobat Reader\DC\FeatureLockDown]
"bUpdateToSingleApp"=dword:00000000
