Adobe Acrobat Reader on iPad rotating pages in pdf-file

I am having a problem with Adobe Acrobat Reader on iPad. I am working with a large pdf-file (around 1,2 GB and 6 500 pages). The file is shown normally (and standing up) on the computer using Adobe Acrobat Pro DC. However, when I transfer the file to the iPad and use Adobe Acrobat for iPad (with DC-credentials), some of the pages in the pdf-file are rotated. Even though I am supposed to be able to rotate the files on the iPad, this is not possible for the rotated files. I believe it has something to do with size of the pages (they seem to be a little "too big" for the pdf-page). Any tips on how to fix this?
