Question

Adobe Acrobat, Saving multiple pages in one document

Hello,

I am importing a PDF with three pages into Adobe Acrobat.  I want to export the image as a PNG or JPEG, but every time I do so the program saves EACH PAGE as a separate file.  How do I fix this?  Thank you.  (I have tried compressing the file and then exporting it, but IT STILL saves each page as a separate file).

If you are thinking of combining them in Photoshop or similar program, you would still not have multiple pages. Your document would be 3-pages wide or tall. For example, an 8.5 x 11 inch document would be 25.5 x 11 inches or 8.5 x 33 inches.

TIFF files can be multi-page but you would need software that supports that feature. AFAIK, Photoshop does not.

How can you do this?  If you could give me a step by step guide that would be great.  Thank you so much!

As @Bernd Alheit says, you can combine them in PS (or other bitmapped applications), but there is no such thing as a multipage JPG or PNG; they do not exist. So, when you export from a PDF to those file types, you can ONLY get individual pages.

Forgive my curiosity here, but what is the end goal of this export and wishing to have a multi-page result. Maybe there is another way for you to get what you want. However, as stated, the way you are doing this cannot achieve what you wish to end up with.

You can combine the image files in Photoshop.
