Adobe Acrobat Standard 2020 - OCR doesn't seem to work at all.

Question

Greetings.  I am having an additional problem with OCR.  Previously (i.e., with Acrobat 9 and perhaps with this program), I could do OCR on a file that was a mixture of recognizable text and some things that were text but had been put in there as images.  Now when I click the recognize text button, nothing whatsoever happens.  It doesn't even try.  It used to at least flip through all of the pages and make an effort and convert whichever pages it could manage.

Please confirm if the issue is with a particular file.

Ensure that it is not a scanned PDF. Would you mind sharing the PDF with us so we can look at it?

Share the Acrobat 2020 and OS version numbers.
