I have a purchased copy of Adobe Acrobat Standard X!. I am trying to load it on a new computer. I have the serial number and when I enter it I get the message "This serial number is not a qualifying product". Does this mean I cannot use the software on my new computer

You needed to own Acrobat 9 or X (10). To prove this you just need to enter the serial number from 9 or X - the "qualifying product".

I hope you did not purchase it now, as it's most likely a scam. This version is past its End Of Life and is no longer supported by Adobe. Nor is it (officially) compatible with any current OS version.

And the error message you got means it's an upgrade license, so no, you can't install it without a previous (qualifying) full license. In short, ask for your money back ASAP!

Yes it is an old version, but it was purchased directly from Adobe. And the download comes from the Adobe website, on my registered products page

OK. Either way, you can't use it on its own, due to it being an upgrade.
