Adobe Acrobat - Text becomes squares when editing

Question

Hello,

We've had an issue raised with one of our users when trying to edit PDF files it shows as squares when being saved

The user recently recieved a new machine so this is new behavouir, I've attached a screenshot of this.

I belive this is an issue with Fonts going wrong, but I'm unable to find a direct reason within the forums - does anyone have any idea on how to resolve?

Yes, this seems to be a font-related issue. Please check if the fonts are embedded in the PDF and if the user has the font available on the machine. That might be causing this behavior. Please refer to the information in the following help document: https://adobe.ly/42lGgO3. Check if that helps.
