Adobe Acrobat Updater keeps showing up on computer

A while ago I downloaded the free version of Adobe Acrobat on my Mac and kept it for a while. I recently deleted it, and only now this "Adobe Acrobat Updater" starts showing up from time to time. I've tried to delete it multiple times, but as soon as I quit the application to do so it disappears from the files completely until the next time it shows up. All the advice here tells me to locate it through the Adobe Utilities folder in Utilities but there is nothing about Adobe even there. I also tried to redownload Acrobat to see if the folder pops up and it still didn't. I'm not sure what to do as the updater still pops up periodically. Please help.
