Adobe Acrobat vs Acrobat X Pro

I've always used Adobe Acrobat X pro but the licence has recently lapsed and so I've downloaded the latest one being Adobe Acrobat. Annoyingly this programme is no where near as easy to use.

Can Adobe Acrobat X pro still be purchased in the UK? I can't find a link that works.
Alternatively, can my subscription be switched to the Adobe Acrobat X pro somehow?

Many thanks.

No, Acrobat X is no more available for purchase anywhere in the world. Acrobat X was first released in 2010. Support ended in 2015, eight years ago. Availability for purchase ended when Acrobat XI came out in 2012.

Acrobat X is on a perpetual licence, and can't “lapse”.

No, and no. But the Acrobat X license is perpetual. What happens when you try to install it?
