Adobe Acrobat X Pro stopped working.

Adobe Acrobat X Pro stopped working.  I can uninstall and reinstall it, then it works again, but it seems like there has to be a better way than doing that every other week.  I've tried going to the control panel and repairing it, but it still doesn't work.  The only way I can make it work again is by uninstalling it and reinstalling it.

No one from chat support can help - they say, "they're not trained on Acrobat X Pro", so I'm hoping to find some answers here. It seems unacceptable to have a product that no one is trained on.

check for av, antimalware, antiadware etc that could be disabling your acrobat.

also, when the problem recurs, reset your preferences - acrobat:  https://forums.adobe.com/thread/1595848?start=0&tstart=0

in case your preferences are getting corrupted.
