Adobe Acrobat X Pro version 10.0.0 Update failure

Question

I experienced issues creating a pdf from excel worksheet selection which used to work flawlesly

Adbobe created the the following log file:

I also tried to solv the issue by getting an update as prpmted to install

I downloaded the update [AcroRdrDCx642200120169_MUI.exe]

Installing it leads to error 130200 Tried this work arounf "Check for updates manually from Help\Check for updates menu. Than select Details link in the Updater dialog. When redirected to the Support page, select appropriate update for your current product version, download manually and run it (double click on downloaded file)."

So also this all lead to nothing

The name of the file you mentioned is not an update for Acrobat X, but for Reader DC.

Updates for Acrobat X are available here:
ftp://ftp.adobe.com/pub/adobe/acrobat/win/10.x/
You must use a dedicated FTP client to open the link, it won't work in most browsers.

Be aware that Acrobat X is an old and unsupported version, and is not officially compatible with any current OS.
To increase the chances of it working properly make sure you have all updates installed (up to 10.1.16) and run it in Compatibility Mode with an earlier OS, like Windows 7.
