Adobe Acrobat XI Standard

Question

Hoping someone can help out. I had Adobe Acrobat XI Standard on my computer and then installed Acrobat DC. I prefer the Standard version. How can I get the Standard Version back? I believe the newer version uninstalled the DC version..

uninstall acrobat dc using the uninstaller

clean per Download Adobe Reader and Acrobat Cleaner Tool - Adobe Labs (direct install of dc) or Use the Creative Cloud Cleaner Tool to solve installation problems (install of dc via cc desktop app)

restart your computer

reinstall xi using your serial number and installation file.
