Doing a migration from W2008 R2 (w/citrix) to W2016.  A web based application requires several Adobe add-ons in order to create *.xdp and *.pdf docs.  We are good in W2008 but in W2016 none of the add-ons show in IE.  In W2008 we are running Acrobat X while in W2016 Acrobat DC 2015.  Running ProcMon in W2008 shows IE creating these files while in W2016 IE is calling on AcroRd32.exe to create the files which fails with Access Denied.  I have attempted to follow the procedures for Installing Extensions AddOns using the Creative Cloud Desktop App but here I am running into another issue: getting 403 Forbidden when logging into the Exchange Portal for installing the extensions/addons.  I have opened a case ADB-11867094-L0N8

Adding to my original post.  I now believe that the Creative Cloud Desktop app and Exchange is meant for extensions/addons for Adobe products only.  Not addons for IE.  What I need are the following addons for IE:  Adobe SmartSelect Class, Adobe PDF Link Helper, Adobe PDF, Adobe PDF Conversion Toolbar Helper.

Adding final update to my post:  Our issue had nothing to do with any Adobe extensions/addons.  Turns out we needed to DISABLE Enhanced Security and Protected Mode in Adobe Reader.  This was the final solution.
