We recently upgraded the license on our Adobe Pro users with in our Organization. She uses PCC (Point Click Care) for her duties and when sharing reports she used to be able to click Share with in the PCC window and email as needed. Since upgrading the license her Icon turned Red from being Black and now she has to download the reports then Email. Curious if anyone else seen this and knows how to repair it, or is that feature gone.

    Hello @johnathan.sumerlin

I hope you are doing well, and thanks for reaching out.

In addition to what our community product has shared, is this happening with the latest build of Acrobat Pro: 25.001.21265. Planned update. Mar 02, 2026?

Also, Adobe recommends keeping the new Acrobat UI enabled, and if you are experiencing the issue, you can report it to us so that we can get this addressed by the Product/Engineering team.

Additionally, this appears to be related to the recent changes made for the Enterprise and Teams environment and licensing. To learn more, please check this article and see if it helps: Sharing restrictions for asset protection

Also, could you please share a screenshot of the red icon you are getting?

    Check

Admin Console > Settings > Asset Settings > Sharing
    If sharing is set to:

Please note that Adobe does not provide a supported method to restore legacy local email sharing when:

    • Document Cloud sharing is disabled or
    • Acrobat is managed under enterprise security policies

In that case, the download‑then‑email workflow is the supported path.

Also, if you have a complete Enterprise license and Environment, you may want to contact the dedicated Enterprise support team via Admin console and raise a ticket so that the team can assist you with the issue.

    Regards,

    Anand Sri.

@johnathan.sumerlin try disabling the new Acrobat on her machine - View - Disable new Acrobat. I will need to restart to make sure the settings are applied.
