Adobe annotation issue

Question

This is regarding file size issue. I am trying to add some annotation to my pdf through a Adobe plugin. But it has a weird behavior. When i add the annotation for the first time to a document, the file size increases by 10kb(obviously) .but all the subsequent addition of annotation to that file leads to size increase of 30kb per addition. Does anyone know why this happens and possibly how Adobe handles annotations in a pdf?

Hope you are doing well. Sorry for your experience with adding annotations on Acrobat.

Have you tried adding the annotations directly through Acrobat?

Also, we would like some more information for further investigation:

1. The plugin that you are using. Is it provided by Adobe or any third-party?

2. The app version of Acrobat you are using (go to Menu > Help > About Acrobat);

3. How is the file created on which you are adding the annotations. Is it a CAD file, created from Word?

Sizing up of a PDF can be due to multiple reasons. The above questions will help us at least get to a position where we can narrow down the approach towards getting to a resolution.
