Adobe Arcobat 7.0 Setup Error

Hello,

Adobe Acrobat Reader DC 19.021.20056 is already installed on my system.

I get the following error message when I try to install Adobe Acrobat 7.0 on my Windows PC. 

"Setup has detected that you already have a more functional product installed. Setup will now terminate."

I deleted Adobe Acrobat Reader DC 19.021.20056 but still get the above error when I try to install Adobe Acrobat 7.0. Does anyone have a fix for this error?

I ran into a similar problem. What could be the reason?

Simply stated, unless you are running Windows XP or earlier, Acrobat 7 cannot install on your system.

Acrobat 7 is quite an old release, and wouldn't be compatible with a modern operating system.  If it's possible, you'd benefit from acquiting the current Acrobat Pro DC release.

Thanks for your response. It actually works on another system with Windows 10 and Adobe Acrobat Reader DC 19.021.20056 already installed. I just don't know why it doesn't work on my laptop (also has Windows 10).
