Adobe Chrome Plugin Saving error

The Adobe plugin for Chrome cannot save the comments and edits I did when I press the save button, I need to go for "Save As" and then save in the same location with the same name to overwrite. This process  needs to be automated like MS Edge browser's "Save" option which saves the comments , highlights and edits in the same file.

    Would you mind sharing a small video recording of the steps and the issue for a better understanding?

     

    Also, try to disable the chrome extension and re-enable it and check if that works. If it still doesn't work, please remove the extension and reinstall it back as described here https://helpx.adobe.com/acrobat/using/enable-createpdf-extension-chrome.html
