Adobe Crashes when using e-sign feature

    Same issues as others with crashing. any idea how long until fix is available?

    Thank you for reaching out, and reporting this.

     

    This is a known issue and will be fixed in the future update. In the meantime, please try sending the document via Acrobat Online. See if that works for you. You may use the steps suggested below:

    • Open the Acrobat Online account.

    • Sign in with your Adobe credentials.

    • Go to the E-Sign tab.

    • Select the request signature.

    You may use the steps suggested here: Send documents for signature

    I have been having the same issue for over a week. Crashes whenever I go to change from text to signature, or if I have more than one signing and I need to choose. I send the reports.  There has been no update. The online version does not work for what I need. When will this be fixed?

    I am also having the same issue and have attached crash logs, version, and screenshot of what we attempt to do. We tried changing the field type to something else other than text and it breaks/crashes Adobe...

    It is crashing before I can even attempt to send. So I do not think it is relevant.

    Thank you for reaching out, and sorry for the trouble caused.


    Since the application is crashing when you use the e-signature feature in Acrobat, please try sending the document using your Acrobat Online account and let us know if you encounter any issues. Here are the steps to follow:

    • Open the link: Acrobat Online

    • Sign in using your Adobe credentials

    • Go to E-Sign tab and select Request Signature.

    Please let us know if the issue occurs only when you use the request signature feature in Acrobat. Do you receive any error message? If yes, please share the screenshot.

    Additionally, please provide the Acrobat and OS version numbers you are using.
