Adobe DC 2015 Update required. cannot sign in or update software

Update your operating system to work with Adobe apps

 

I get the error as noted in the above link. it will not let me sign in. 

my system is up to date. 

I dont get why it will not let me update 1st so I can sign in later. 

I downloaded the newer version 2017. and it let me sign in, but I serial number no longer work.

Could you please share the OS version installed on the machine?

Windows 11 Pro. 64 bit. Updated. 

Edge browser. Updated. 

 

this adobe 2015 stand alone previously WAS running on this very same computer. I just had to reset my PC because it crashed. Now it is newly installed.

Acrobat 2015 is an old version and reached the end of support in 2020. It has never been tested on Windows 11. It may or may not work on this OS version. For more details, please refer to the following help page: https://helpx.adobe.com/acrobat/kb/end-of-support-acrobat-2015-reader-2015.html. 

However, you may try the troubleshooting steps suggested on the following help page:
