Adobe DC locking up/crashing when merging multiple PDFs **

Question

We are running Adobe DC in our VDI environment. The desktops are Windows 8.1. The Adobe DC Pro version is 2017.009.20058. We have several users running the application but one primary user is reporting this consistent "lock up' when attempting to combine multiple PDFs. This is happening with a little as 3 PDFs and as many as 60+ PDFs.

I'm not sure where I start to get this resolved, but the Support site is starting me here. I can not find anything in the current threads that's similar to this situation.
