Adobe DC update breaks Pitstop functionality again?

Acrobat DC update 21.011.20039 from the past couple days seems to have hosed my ability to unmask masked items when using Pitstop. The option is no longer available. Anyone else having this issue? I used Time Machine to revert back by a week and it's all good now. Also turned off the automatic update option in Preferences.

Hi @orka1981,

Could you please help me with following:

1. Exact steps for masking and unmasking objects items that you used (short video also works)

2. Share the screenshot or short video of issue

3. Sample/masked PDF on which issue was occuring

Thanks,

Mayank

Acrobat changes constantly, and sometimes breaks plug-ins. This is unfortunate, what with the automatic update and all. But Adobe cannot fix the plug-ins, you have to contact the plug-in maker. I would like to suggest running behind the current release, but there doesn't seem to be a way to do that.

I have this on, so I'm not sure what level of updates turning it off would prevent:

Turning this off would stop updates. I strongly recommend this if Acrobat is mission critical, Adobe just do not seem to be able to produce bug free new releases. Every so often see if the dust has settled, and manually update, prefereably on a test system.

What does this have to do with InDesign?

Moved to Acrobat forum.

This sounds as if Pitstop needs to update the plugin. Have you contacted Enfocus?
