Adobe deleted my paid-for, stand-alone copy or Acrobat Pro from my PC without notice or permission

I bought Acrobat Pro years ago and used it often until I tried to open it and got an Adobe message stating something along the lines of my Acrobat Pro was old and therefore Adobe would not let it be used. Then I discovered that all my Acrobat Pro program files had been deleted from my computer. I'm assuming Adobe did this because I certainly did not.

I am unable to find any information about this hacking my computer because an application was old. Anyone here have any information they can share?

I've never heard of this error before. Can you share the exact wording of the error you received? Also did you purchase this directly from Adobe or a third party?
