Adobe desktop signature request is looping back to adding recipients rather than allowing us to add the signature box and send

This appears to be an issue since the upgrade but is marked as resolved.  it isn’t

If it keeps sending you back to the recipient screen, try signing out of Acrobat and signing back in, then check if there's another update available.

You could also try creating the signature request through Acrobat on the web to see if the same thing happens there. If it works online but not in the desktop app, that may help narrow it down to the desktop version.

Since the issue is still happening after being marked as resolved, I'd report it to Adobe support with your Acrobat version and the steps that trigger the loop: https://helpx.adobe.com/contact.html

    Hi Inspiring_Sunrisef6da,

Thank you for reaching out and reporting this.

As previously mentioned, the problem began after the update. Could you please confirm the versions of Acrobat and your operating system that you are currently using? Additionally, it would be very helpful if you could share a video demonstrating the issue.

Additionally, please check if you can send the document via your Acrobat web account. Here are the steps to follow:

    • Open the Acrobat web

    • Sign in using the same credentials you use for the desktop application.

    • Go to the E-Sign tab and select "Request e-Signatures."

    • Send the document for signature.

This will help us determine whether the issue lies with the desktop application or your Acrobat Sign account. If you can send the document without any issues through the web account, please collect the logs for the issue using the steps provided here: Adobe Acrobat Diagnostics.

Let us know if you need any assistance.

    Thanks,

    Meenakshi
