Adobe Doesn't Work and I'm Paying for the Subscription and PDF24 Does Work and It's Free

My PDF files, no matter the size, take an extremely long time to open.  Once opened, when I start to page through, Adobe will start to clock for a long period of time between pages.  Sometimes I have to end the program and restart.  I am running Windows 11 Pro.  I have 32 gb of memory.  I'm not editing the documents, I just want to open, look through, and print a page or two.  I have deleted and reinstalled Adobe.  No change.  I'm forced to use PDF24 whilte still having the pay for Adobe.  I have none of the issues I am having with Adobe.

FWIW, you’re not alone. Large PDFs can choke down Acrobat, and smaller ones can work poorly if they’re for some reason not well constructed.

Please let me refer you to a previous post that has comprehensive checks you can do to speed up Acrobat processing:

Sorry it took me so long to get back with you. I headed out to a late lunch, got back and saw your reply.

Hope this helps,
