Adobe Features working intermittently (Organize Pages & Scrolling)

My organization has recently forced an upgrade from using Adobe Acrobat 2017 to Adobe Acrobat subscription model. I'm using "Continuous Release | Version 2025.001.20474 | 64-bit"

Coworkers and myself have noted multiple issues with Adobe features only working intermittently. Primarily Organize Pages ability to drag and drop will just stop working. On restart of the program, it will work again; however, this seems to be a significant design flaw. Our workflows of having multiple documents open and dragging/dropping to organize is hampered greatly by having to restart Adobe. This happens across mulitple users, many different PDFs, and multiple re-installs.

Also, scrolling (particularly holding ctrl+mouse scroll wheel) stops working intermittently.

Both of these seem reproducible whenever Print to PDF is used; however, seems it occurs at other times as well. PDF printing is also a feature that needs to be usable without activating these bugs.

Thank you

@christopher_0891 sorry to hear of this issue. I myself work from a MAC environment, so don't have this issue, while not ideal, by habitually restarting the application immediately after printing a PDF, you can preemptively clear the program's state and reduce the likelihood of encountering the drag-and-drop or scrolling issues during your subsequent organization tasks.

Double-check your graphics drivers and printer drivers are up-to-date, as outdated drivers can sometimes contribute to such instabilities. You might also consider exploring the option to clear Adobe's internal cache or preferences without a full reinstall, though this often requires delving into hidden application data folders. https://community.adobe.com/t5/acrobat-discussions/how-to-reset-acrobat-preference-settings-to-default/m-p/4792082

I would make a copy of the preferences just in case. I know when I had to replaced the expanding battery on my MacBook Pro, for some reasons, my preferences also ballooned to 17gigs. Once I deleted the preferences and restarted my MacBook, my preferences went down to 384 kb! KB not Gigabytes!
