Question

Adobe fill and sign keeps crashing my Adobe

Hello,

I have a question. Currently dealing with a client of mines from my Company that has been dealing with a particular PDF file that has been crashing.

It crashes when user is trying to use sign and fill his signature onto the PDF file.
I’ve ran repairs/Reinstalled deleting adobe cache for signatures.

None of this seem to fix the issue. I saw that it was a known issue from adobe but it’s weird because it seems to just be one PDF file. I’ve tested it with my user with other PDF files and it was perfectly fine.

Any solutions?
Thanks!

    Hi Joeyv,

Thank you for reporting this issue.

Since the problem occurs with a specific PDF, your case may differ from others. We are currently investigating this behavior. To assist us further, could you please provide the following information:

    • Do you experience this issue with other PDFs as well?
    • Could you share the PDF where the issue occurs?
    • Please record a short video that demonstrates the workflow leading to the crash, as this will help us replicate the issue.
    • What are the current versions of Acrobat and your operating system?

In the meantime, please try sending the document using Acrobat Online to see if that works for you. Here are the steps to do so:

    • Open the Acrobat Online account.

    • Sign in with your Adobe credentials.

    • Go to the E-Sign tab.

    • Select the request signature.

You may also refer to these steps suggested here: Send documents for signature

If you have any questions or need further assistance, please let us know.

    Thanks,

    Meenakshi
