Adobe Fonts and Distiller

This has also baffled me. When using Adobe Fonts (previously TypeKit fonts), Distiller can't see them until you manually add in the font location folder AppData\Roaming\Adobe\CoreSync\plugins\livetype\r. If I only had to do this once, that would be fine. But for some reason Distiller "forgets" (perhaps after each update?) and I have to go back in and add the font location yet again.

The question I have is two-fold:

• Is there really no other way to have Distiller find the fonts than manually add the font location to this less-than-obvious location?

• Is there any way to avoid having Distiller forget the settings on a regular basis. Along with the font locations, it also forget the default joboptions as well.
