Adobe Forms Central Question

I'm trying to put formatted text and text fields into a make from scratch form. Every time I try to move a field box to the right of the form it snaps to the left either to the edge of the form or to whatever field I may have in it's way. How do I stop it from snapping (aligning??) everything to the left of the page and freely put things where I want when I'm making a form from scratch. Thank you
