Adobe is trash

Can't believe I am stuck paying for this garbage program. Absolutely filled with bugs that even their support team can't fix. Brand new powerful Windows Computer exclusively used to fill out forms on Adobe and Adobe Pro won’t operate without glitches.

adobe has and always will be trash!! Developers are ass hats and don't know how to make a user friendly interface. There are so many issues, bugs, and nonsensical fill that all their applications are just nightmares to work with. I would like them to go out of business but unfortunately they're a cancer that’s here to stay.

lol im so glad i found this thread.

im glad i do not have to pay for this product myself as a designer with over 10+ years in the business i learned to hate adobe with every fiber of my being. i feel like a boomer but it is true that since adobe went SaaS it all went downhill. Absolute garbage product that struggles to render 2d spaces with letters on it while computers today can render vast 3d spaces or giant design-systems (figma) without a single lag or bug. Adobes demise would bring me joy beyond my wildest imagination, im glad i do not have to use those garbage products daily anymore since I'm a UI-/UX-Designer.

truly a horrible company, not even starting to talk about their sales practices.

Whoever reads this who is working at adobe, screw you, you should feel ashamed and look for a different job.

Their product is abosulte trash and it keeps getting worse with every update. Im currently struggling to put together a presention in Indesign for a high-end commercial firm and the software keeps crashing / freezing up. Im so glad I dont have to personally pay for this medical-waste grade dumpster fire of a product

I am so happy to have found this thread, expressing my anger FOR me, regarding how absolutely TERRIBLE adobe is. I truly do not understand how such an established company could ever maintain such garbage products. Ending my subscription effective immediately.

Here here. Foxit was no longer working so I uninstalled then reinvested in Adobe (huge mistake)  The download automatically installed McAfee....which was tank to stop, and botched the whole process crashing Chrome.  So had to reopen then go to my Adobe account and cancel the fake free trial, and complexly uninstall everything. Which was bug city in itself. Spawning loads of popup crap, asking Why incl. surveys  UGH 🙎  What the heck happened to Adobe.  Guess they were hijacked by aliens or fired half their crew like FB

It's horrendous.  The previous iteration was so much more fluid, user friendly, efficient and made sense.

This looks like it's been created by some intern sent from a rival company to sabotage Adobe.  Seriously reconsidering subscription and going with another provider - entire company thinks this is just rubbish.

Hi All!

We appreciate your valuable feedback! We're always looking for ways to make Acrobat better, and we appreciate the time and effort you have taken to share your feedback with us.

We acknowledge that the new Acrobat represents a notable change, however we hope that as you get familiar with the new interface, you are able to be more productive & get more out of Acrobat. With the new interface, we aim to:

  1. Provide a simplified viewing experience that helps reduce clutter & optimise it for most used PDF actions that are relevant while viewing a document.
  2. Easily allow users to discover PDF tools they need by ensuring tools are intuitively grouped and a click away,
    • For example, all tools that allow content, page & file level edits can be found under one action-based verb called “Edit”; tools that allow converting files to & from PDFs can be found under “Convert”; tools that allow filling & signing documents or requesting signatures from others under “Sign”.
  3. Most importantly, the new interface enables users to effortlessly move between different PDF tools to complete their document related tasks.
  • For example, someone viewing comments in a PDF should also be able to easily edit the text of it without interrupting their workflow.
  • A user can seamlessly perform page level edits such as reordering, inserting, extracting, rotating or deleting pages while editing content and/or commenting on the file.

We would also like to highlight that we have exhaustively tested these changes with users over the past 12 months, keenly monitoring user behaviour & addressing top user issues before gradually rolling out the new interface to the Acrobat user base.

A point to note is that as we made these changes in the interface, we have ensured all tools & features that are currently supported, retain their familiar functionalities and workflows as they did in the previous version. We are proactively addressing any gaps or issues reported by users related to any break in current workflows.

We will follow up on this response with a detailed article explaining the changes, a guide to help familiarise you to the new interface, along with regular updates on upcoming changes.

Thank you once again for your feedback and do look forward to our upcoming releases!

~Anand Sri.

You might be using the brand new version of Acrobat with the new interface. In addition to looking different, it has many bugs and missing features.

Try reverting to the "classic" user interface by following the instructions here:

https://community.adobe.com/t5/acrobat-discussions/acrobat-2023-how-to-revert-to-classic-gui-user-interface/m-p/14052807#M426838

And FYI, I am not an Adobe employee, just a fellow user like you.

I"m going to try this and hope it works.  I need the original field properties and the instructions I have to revert are not working.

Once you "Disable New Acrobat," be sure to reboot your computer.
