Adobe License count over limit - Adobe Acrobat X Standard Edition

We have a license for Adobe Acrobat X Standard Edition to which I believe is licensed for 6 users.

We currently have this installed on 4 machines and have hit an impasse with trying to register the software on a new machine.

Previously when we have allocated licenses to new machines, we have always deactivated the software on the old machine.

I have tried contacting support who were not helpful as we could not provide the correct e-mail address.  I supplied them with all the additional information that they requested but would help no further.

I have spoken to the volume license team and they told me to post here
