Adobe PDF access status of invited commentors

If I share a PDF document with a list of people, I can´t see if and when they have opened it anymore. Has this feature been deactivated?

It has been very helpful to see the progress of commenting.

    What is the workflow/steps you are doing to share the PDF for commenting?

     

    Is this an issue with a particular PDF file or with all the PDFs that you share for review? Please try with a different PDF file and check.

     

    Also, go through the help page (https://adobe.ly/3NST5Ym) and see if that works for you.

    Hi Amal, we export the PDF and then share it via Adobe Reader for Review, as we don´t want to use the review option from Indesign because we keep on working on those files and the user group ist too big.

    Before it looked like this

    Now we only see the names with no information about the status, if and when they opened it or if they are done with their comments.

     

    The problem occurs with all PDF files, it seems to be dependend on the programm version. Older version still have the function.
