Question

adobe pdf printer resultant is an image

Hello:

Upon selecting Print to Adobe PDF printer, in Window 7, Chrome, the resultant PDF is an image as opposed to text.

Is there a setting somewhere to fix this as that the PDF file is text rather than an image of the web page.

Thank you.

Many web pages are delivered as graphics. Can you copy and paste the text in Chrome?

Hi douglassl88044444,

Sorry for the delay in response.

If you use "Print to Adobe PDF" printer to create PDF from web page, it will flatten the PDF.

Please try to create PDF from Adobe Acrobat add-in.

If it is not enabled, go to Chrome settings and select extensions. Then enable the add-in for Adobe Acrobat.

Then try to create PDF from the Add-in icon on Chrome and check if you can select the text on PDF or not.

If you still experience the issue, let us know.

Regards,

Meenakshi
