Adobe PDF Shared Review: Mac users can't publish their comments

Hi everyone.

 

I create shared review PDF files using Adobe Acrobat Pro 2024.005.20421 64 bit on Win11 and upload them to SharePoint Online.

 

All Windows users can access the shared review PDF files and publish their comments. 

All Mac users can access the shared review PDF files but cannot publish their comments. 

 

Has anyone encountered this issue on Mac?

Hope you are doing well and thanks for reaching out.

 

Is this an issue with a particular PDF file or with all the PDFs, please try with a different PDF file and check.  If it's a file-specific issue, please share the PDF file in question so we can check it at our end.

 

What happens when the Mac users try to publish the comments? Do they get an error message? If yes, please share a screenshot of the same. Also, a small video recording of the steps they are taking and the issue occurring would be very helpful for more clarity.

Hi Amal,

 

Thank you for your response! The issue is applicable to all shared review PDF files we store in SharePoint.
It seems that when the MAC users try to publish their comments by clicking Publish Comments, the comments aren't stored.

 

I read that there is some compatibility issue of the Acrobat shared review mode with the MAC systems. Is this true? Is there any known limitations related to MAC? Thank you for your response in advance!
