Question

Adobe pop-ups are so annoying i am considering quitting any and all subscriptions. How to turn off those fucking Adobe upsell attempts? customer for 10+ years but about had it with fucking adobe.

Adobe has been an upsell machine with frequent disruptions, popups galore and AI BS all over their interfaces, ready to quit after a dozen years of handing them $$$ hand over fist.

    Hello @GhoSty,

I hope you are doing well, and sorry, after more than a decade as an Adobe customer, it’s completely understandable that repeated prompts and interruptions would be frustrating.

Could you please share more details about the issue? Are you on a Mac or Windows machine, and what is the version? What is the version of Acroba installed? Check from Menu/Acrobat > Help > About Adobe Acrobat. Could you please share a screenshot of the message/pop-up you are getting?

In Acrobat desktop, you can reduce some of these messages:

    • Go to Menu (Windows) | Acrobat (Mac) > Preferences > General and, under Messages From Adobe, deselect Show Me Messages When I Launch Acrobat.

    • To turn off Acrobat’s AI features, close any open documents, go to Preferences > Generative AI, deselect Enable generative AI features, and select OK.

Unfortunately, there isn’t one universal setting that disables every in-product upsell or required service message. If the pop-ups are coming from the Creative Cloud desktop app, you can also adjust them under Account > Preferences > Notifications.

I hope this helps, and please reach out if you need any assistance.

    Regards,

    Anand Sri.
