Adobe Pro 2020 crashes when opening URL

Question

I use Adobe Acropbat PRO Version 2020.005.30418 on Win11.

Recently the program started to crash when I try to open URLs from PDFs, this worked until a few weeks ago. I did not change the Adobe settings.

I checked Updates, reinstalled the program and also unchecked edit>preferences>security(enhanced)>enable enhanced security. However, the problem persists.

I just noticed that the URL finally open (if I wait about 1 min and do not force Adobe to stop). However, a few weeks ago the URLs opened quickly.
