Adobe Pro freezes MacBook

I have macOS Sonoma 14.0 and Adobe Acrobat Pro 2023.006.20360 installed.

Several times a day I have to force quit Adobe Acrobat because I'm unable to work with any of the open PDFs. Every action takes several minutes to occur. Even something as simple as trying to resize the window can take several minutes for the program to respond. I've tried uninstalling, reinstalling and rebooting to no avail.

in the future, to find the best place to post your message, use the list here, https://community.adobe.com/

p.s. i don't think the adobe website, and forums in particular, are easy to navigate, so don't spend a lot of time searching that forum list. do your best and we'll move the post (like this one has already been moved) if it helps you get responses.

Thank you so much! My alerts were going to Spam so I just saw this now, and the solution you linked me to worked (more or less - my pathway was different and file names weren't the same, but I understood the idea). Wish I had checked my spam folder earlier because my last project wouldn't have taken so long!!
