Adobe Pro (Not Responding)

Never had issues with opening files (exception to some with many comments) but otherwise program always ran well and I always requested to renew the program with my company.  The last month I am unable to open the simplest of files without a (not responding) comment and shut down OR a serious delay.  I cannot continue to work like this, I am losing too much time plus everytime I re-install all of my toolbar preferences are lost.  Looking at the community this is an issue for many.  The visual change was bad enough but now the program is just not working properly.  What are we paying for and what is being done to correct the issue?

Hope you are doing well and thanks for reaching out.

 

What is the version of the Acrobat DC you are using? To check the version go to Help > About Acrobat and make sure you have the recent version 23.08.20458 installed. Go to Help > Check for updates and reboot the computer once.
 
Also try to repair the installation from the help menu (Win Only) and see if that works.

You may also try to create a new test user profile with full admin rights in Win or enable the root account in MAC and try using the application there and check.
 
If it still doesn't work, please remove the application using the Acrobat cleaner tool https://adobe.ly/48veoaG, reboot the computer and reinstall the application using the direct link https://adobe.ly/3TWA62U;
