Adobe Pro simply will not open any documents

Everything was working fine until yesterday when I clicked on an PDF and got the hourglass and then nothing. I have repaired, uninstalled, reinstalled, still nothing. I need to work with PDF documents, what is happening and does anyone have a fix? I paid for PRO!
