Shivam,

Thank you for your response.

1.Try disabling Protected View by launching Acrobat>click Edit>Preferences

Under Security(Enhanced)>click Off under Protected View>click OK and try printing again. It was already off. did not correct.

2.If that doesn't work, try printing as image, under Print dialogue>click Advanced>check the box "Print As Image".

Click OK and try again. I have never used this feature, but it worked document printed.

thanks for the information.

Hi all,

Sorry for the inconvenience caused to you.

Could you please try repairing Acrobat by clicking "Repair Installation" under Help menu, reboot the machine and try printing again?

Keep us posted with the results.

I also have the same issue. I tried everything mentioned above without any success (except "print as image" was disabled and I wasn't able to try it). I did import my file in Photoshop and was able to print this way.

I have 17.9.20044.222436. This issue appeared after the last Acrobat update.

I hope that Adobe is going to find how to solve this issue asap.

I am having the same issue with Acrobat Pro DC version (Classic) 2015.006.30306

All users who have this version cannot print pdf to any network printer.   They have selected print as image, won't print.

they have selected disabling protected view.   They have now set reader as the default and completely are unable to use the DC, unless they know to right click and tell the document to open with, several users do not know how to do that, or fail to remember.   The reason we purchased DC Pro was it's capabilities for editing etc....what has happened since the April update with this program?  We didn't have issues until the April auto update to version listed above.

Very very disappointed and the expense of this program.   This issue has been going on for several months, to no avail, there is a bug that needs corrected.   It is a shame that there are other programs out there, that now we are looking at because of the issues with Pro DC.

Hi budman50,

As I was able to understand the issue from the description, you are unable to print using Acrobat Pro DC, is that correct?

Try disabling Protected View by launching Acrobat>click Edit>Preferences

Under Security(Enhanced)>click Off under Protected View>click OK and try printing again.

Please note: Disabling Protected View is for troubleshooting purpose only. Please enable the setting when troubleshooting is complete.

If that doesn't work, try printing as image, under Print dialogue>click Advanced>check the box "Print As Image".

Click OK and try again.

What is the version of Acrobat installed on the machine?

You may refer to this link for the same: Identify the product and its version for Acrobat and Reader DC

Awaiting your response.

this still is not corrected still cannot print.  Is this just a windows (Microsoft) and adobe fight?    I am ready to just change out all the Adobe DC and move to another pdf editing software.    If we open the documents in reader then it will print, but then you have to switch back to pro dc to edit and to change it in anyway.

what a crock.   This is making life miserable.  The IT specialist has even been in contact with Adobe Engineers and they say there is no fix at this time.   When will there be a fix?    I recommend people stop subscribing and buying Adobe DC Pro until it is corrected.

Let me know if there has been anymore fixes that I am not aware of as all of the suggestions on this site do NOT work.
