Adobe put Malware on my Compter

Adobe put malware on my computer.  I bought a one time purchase in 2017.  Registered it online and they gave me the serial number.  Now they are saying its not working and I need to move to the monthly plan.  I bought it and have reached out to customer service.  Once I did that I now have a malware on my computer that pops up a window saying "app is disabled" every 2-3 min.  I do not even have any adobe product open.  This is disrupting my work and should not be permissible to just add malware to anyone's computer.  Has this happed to anyone else?

Hi @Robert38553492x739,

Hope you are doing well. Thanks for writing in!

This sounds strange and shouldn't be happening. Did you download the installer through our Adobe's official website?

You can log in to https://adobe.ly/3zXCxdx to check for registration of your product. If registered already, you should see the option to download through a secured download link.

Also, for the present issue, I would suggest a fresh install of the application from the website.

Please run the Acrobat cleaner tool https://adobe.ly/46fESwk, reboot the computer once.

Once done, download the installer from the Adobe Account page shared above and see if that works for you.
