Adobe reader 23 can't search PDF

As shown in the figure, we can't search the PDF text in the latest version.

Please fix this, even the Edge web browser can do the search.

Also, would you please help to point out where I could revert back to the previous 22 versions? as that works find on my side.

Works fine here, on the same version of Reader (only 32-bits instead of 64, but I don't think that should matter):
