Adobe Reader 7, How Do I Set Default to Document + Markups

I have some users that print a lot of documents and having default + markups as the default print option in Adobe Reader 7 would streamline the process over time. Please advise me on how I can do this for them.

Thanks!

Same reply, but substitute Acrobat for Reader...

I figured, I found a generic Adobe X registry edit fix here, https://forums.adobe.com/thread/1238706 but for some reason it isn't applying the registry update, even after rebooting the computer. I just started working here and they have a lot of dated software.

The ‘X’ in the version stands for 10, so the information you found is for a version that is 3 generations newer than what you are running - it’s not surprising that it’s not working.

I also doubt that back in the days of Acrobat 7 these things were actually documented, I am pretty sure that the Enterprise Toolkit documentation came later (that’s where you would find information about these things).

My apologies, I meant Adobe Acrobat 7.0.

Perhaps in the intervening 11 years, Adobe changed something. This might have been later changed in Adobe Reader 8, 9, 10, 11, Acrobat Reader 2015 or 2017, or DC. I doubt you'll find anyone running Reader 7 to find out.
